How to Stream Using In-Game LIV Camera (Example: Gorilla Tag)
Go live directly from the Quest headset to a player’s YouTube, Twitch, or platform of choice using anRTMP URL. No need for a PC or casting to another device.
In-game camera streaming uses the view from the LIV camera inside the game.
We'll use Gorilla Tag as an example. Each game may have a slightly different experience depending on how the developer implemented the camera system. Read below or watch the tutorial video.
Access LIV Streaming Panel
The tablet will have a new toggle (at the top left in this case) to switch between Camera Mode and Live Streaming Mode.
If you haven’t linked your camera to the LIV Hub yet, a link code will appear.
The Settings button at the bottom opens the LIV Hub 2D app.
Date of birth for first time users
LIV Hub will log in using your Meta Quest account.
If it’s your first time using LIV Hub, confirm your age. Users 13+ (varies by region) can proceed.
mm is month. 01=January, 02=February, and so forth
dd is day. 01, 02, 03, 04 and so forth
Pair your game by entering your Code
Select LIV Camera Games on the left side menu
Select Pair Game in the top right
Enter the code presented on the LIV Camera.
Link Your Streaming Account
Select Connect Socials on the left side menu
Link your YouTube or Twitch account.
TikTok is supported through manual RTMP entry.
Start Streaming
Everything is now set up.
Return to Gorilla Tag to start streaming by pressing Stop.
Note: When streaming to YouTube, you’ll also need to click “Go Live” in YouTube Studio.
