How to stream to TikTok with LIV

TikTok is not supported by LIV Hub at this time.  TikTok does not provide a way to connect to stream.  If you would like integrated support, contact TikTok asking them to build the functionality.

That said, there is a workaround using RTMP

How to get a TikTok RTMP Stream Key

1. Ensure your TikTok account is eligible to Live Stream
2. Go to TikTok Live Center
   1. If you see a Go LIVE button on the left, your TikTok account has been enabled with a Stream Key
   2. If you don't see the Go LIVE button, TikTok has not given you access.  
3. If you do have the stream key, you'll need to go live first in TikTok Live Center
4. Once live, the Stream Key and RTMP URL will be available to copy into LIV Hub

Set up a manual RTMP connection in LIV Hub

Going live with Restream

1. Make a restream account https://app.restream.io/home
2. Connect TikTok to your, it will send you to an application page that you have to fill out. It may take a while before your account is approved.
3. Click 'new stream' on your home page in Restream.
4. Select encoder | RTMP
5. Copy and paste the URL and the Stream Key into the manual connection setup of LIV Hub. Don't forget to add a slash after the URL. So essentially this format: rtmp://live.restream.io/live/privatestreamkey
6. Go live thru headset streaming or a LIV camera
